MORTGAGES IN TURKEY
Certain banks in Turkey are now offering non-residential mortgages for you to
buy your property in the form of a loan for a maximum of ten years.
Terms
Mortgages available in Turkish Lira (YTL), Euro, US Dollar, GBP Sterling
Maximum loan term of 10 years
Maximum loan-to-value (LTV) ratio of 50% of the appraised value of property
Maximum loan amount of YTL 500.000 or equivalent in foreign currencies
Life insurance, personal house insurance and Natural Disaster Insurance
Authority (DASK) will be requested
Fixed interest rates for duration of loan
Loan Application documents required are;
Turkish Tax ID Number
Surveyor's valuation report (YTL 500)
Non-Resident Application Form (provided by the Turkish Bank)
Sample copy of the passport or the original copy of permanent residence
Credit record from applicant's home country
Utility, cable or telecommunication bill stating the address of the customer in
the home country
